Pixel Retreat — Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using Pixel Retreat services.

General Terms

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Pixel Retreat website, joining the Minecraft server, or using any Pixel Retreat services, you agree to these Terms and our Rules. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or server.

Eligibility

You must follow all applicable laws and platform rules (including Minecraft/Mojang/Microsoft policies). If you are not old enough in your country to accept terms, you must have permission from a parent/guardian.

Accounts & Responsibility

You are responsible for your Minecraft/Discord accounts and anything done while logged into them. Do not share accounts. Pixel Retreat is not responsible for losses caused by shared accounts, compromised devices, or weak security on your side.

Server Rules

The Pixel Retreat Rules (in-game and Discord) are part of these Terms. Breaking rules may result in actions such as warnings, mutes, kicks, temporary bans, permanent bans, item removals, rollbacks, or wipes, depending on severity and history.

Fair Play

You may not use cheats, hacks, unauthorized clients/features, or exploits that provide an unfair advantage. Bug abuse, duping, and glitch exploitation are not allowed. If you find a bug, report it to staff.

Behavior & Safety

Harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, scams, or disruptive behavior are not allowed. Keep chat and gameplay respectful and appropriate for a community environment.

Server Changes, Resets & Wipes

Pixel Retreat may update gameplay, plugins, features, items, and balance at any time. We may also roll back progress or perform resets/wipes (for example: security incidents, dupes, corruption, major updates, or economy balance). We will try to announce major changes, but this is not always possible.

No Guarantee of Uptime or Data

Pixel Retreat services are provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, bug-free gameplay, or permanent data retention. Lag, downtime, crashes, or data loss may occur, and we are not liable for resulting losses (including items, currency, homes, claims, or progress).

Items, Claims & Progress

In-game items, currency, builds, claims, ranks, perks, and progress are not guaranteed to be permanent. They may be adjusted, removed, or reset when necessary for balance, fairness, or technical reasons.

Player Content & Media

By playing on Pixel Retreat, you allow us to use in-game content you create or share (such as builds, chat messages, screenshots, and clips) for moderation, community showcases, and Pixel Retreat promotions. We will not knowingly share private information. You can request removal of specific media where reasonable.

Advertising & Impersonation

Do not advertise other servers or services without permission. Do not impersonate staff or other players, and do not mislead others for personal gain.

Staff Authority

Staff may take action to protect the community and the server. Decisions may be made quickly in urgent situations and may be revised if new evidence appears. Abusing staff, evading punishment, or interfering with moderation may result in stronger penalties.

Termination & Suspension

Pixel Retreat may restrict or terminate access to the server or services at any time for rule violations, fraud, security concerns, or disruptive behavior, with or without prior notice depending on the situation.

Store, Payments & Virtual Currency

Store Purchases (Digital Goods)

All purchases made through the Pixel Retreat store are digital goods delivered in-game (and/or through linked services such as Discord roles or account perks). Delivery times can vary depending on processing and server status. By purchasing, you confirm you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

No Refunds After Delivery

Because store items are digital and delivered instantly or shortly after purchase, purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered, unless required by applicable law. If something is missing or delivered incorrectly, contact us and we will investigate and correct it where possible.

Chargebacks / Payment Disputes (Abuse Only)

If a chargeback or payment dispute is opened fraudulently or abusively (for example: after digital items/perks have been delivered, or without contacting support first), Pixel Retreat may temporarily suspend access to the server and store until the issue is fully resolved. If a dispute was opened by mistake or is not correct, contact us and we'll help resolve it as quickly as possible.

Pricing & Changes

We may adjust store items, bundles, perks, and pricing at any time for balance, technical, or operational reasons. Purchased items may be rebalanced if needed to maintain fair gameplay. We do not guarantee permanent availability of any specific store item.

Virtual Currency (In-Game Trading Only)

Pixel Retreat virtual currencies (for example coins/pearls) are in-game items with no real-world monetary value. They may be traded between players inside the game, but they may not be sold, bought, exchanged, or advertised for real money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or any value outside the server. Any attempt to trade currency outside the game may result in penalties, including removal of items/currency and account sanctions.

Fraud & Abuse Prevention

Any attempt to exploit payments, store systems, chargebacks, or delivery (including duplication, false claims, or repeated abuse) may result in enforcement actions, including removal of goods and account restrictions.

Other Legal Terms

Third-Party Services

Pixel Retreat may rely on third-party services (hosting providers, Discord, payment processors, analytics, etc.). We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by third parties.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website with a "Last updated" date. Continued use of Pixel Retreat means you accept the updated Terms.
