Factory [WIP]

Run your own factory in Survival. Hire employees, gather materials, grow food, and turn ingredients into dishes you can sell. Choose what to produce and grow your factory with upgrades.

Getting Started

Open /factory, then:

1. Hire an employee through Recruitment.

2. Open Management → Employee pools and assign them to a building.

3. Open that building and choose a job. Check the skills, equipment, materials, and power it needs.

Jobs are called Work Orders. They can continue while you are offline if employees are paid and any required power is available. Queued jobs wait to run afterward. Check before starting: you cannot cancel production jobs once started or queued.

Recruitment

Pay for an employee search, then compare skills, work speed, and daily salary before hiring. Office upgrades unlock more recruitment companies.

Salaries come from your Money each day, even when employees are not working or you are offline. If you cannot pay, their work pauses.

Education

Teach employees Hand Labour, Production, or Craftsmanship for different jobs. Their Efficiency affects how fast they work and drops after production jobs. Efficiency training raises it again. Employees cannot work and train at the same time.

The Warehouse

Your factory's goods arrive here automatically. Choose an item and amount, then click Withdraw to take it out or Sell if available. Ordinary items cannot be put back. Check each item's storage limit: new goods that do not fit are lost.

To store tools or vehicles, open Vehicles & Equipment → Deposit Equipment, select them from your inventory, and click Confirm Deposit.

Power Station

Keep your powered jobs running with fuel from the Warehouse. The Generator uses Oil, Coal power uses Coal, Bio uses Compost or Manure, and Nuclear uses Uranium. The Oil Rig produces Oil while it has power.

Upgrade power sources to run more jobs together. If power runs short, some jobs pause until enough is available again.

The Mine

Gather stone, ores, and other materials. Hand Mining needs an employee with Hand Labour and a Diamond Pickaxe in your Warehouse. It needs no power, but the pickaxe wears down.

Upgrade to use the Tunnel Boring Machine and Large Excavator with the right equipment, skills, and power.

The Ranch

Raise chickens, pigs, cows, and sheep. Breed animals, collect eggs, milk cows, shear sheep, or produce meat. You can also turn milk into Yogurt and Cheese.

Clean the animal pens to collect Manure for Bio power. Upgrade them to keep more animals.

The Farm

Grow crops using employees with Farmhand Kits, or a tractor with a driver and suitable equipment. Tractors can work faster, but may damage some crops.

Check the growing cost before starting. Your harvest goes to the Warehouse. Buy or expand fields to grow more.

Fishing Dock

Send a boat and crew to Lotus Lake or Sunset Reef. Each needs a suitable boat and offers different catches. Fish arrive in your Warehouse during the trip. Dock upgrades let you send more boats at once.

The Kitchen

Hold a Recipe Book and right-click to learn its recipes. The book is used up, but the recipes stay unlocked. Choose a recipe and a cook to use ingredients from your Warehouse. Higher Craftsmanship improves the chance of a better dish.

Use Sell Dishes to earn Money based on the recipe and quality. You can also take a dish out, hold it, and right-click to restore hearts. Kitchen upgrades let you cook more dishes at once.

Management

Keep track of employees, salaries, and Work Orders. Problems shows jobs waiting for pay or power. Finances compares your costs with the value of what you make; goods still in storage are not Money earned yet.
